Reading Festival 2008

Very very pleasantly surprised. Will be aquiring the album, really liked the direction of it.

Not the electro cliche I had them down for. Actually quite entertaining.
Crystal Castles
Immense. The woman is a nut. speaker stomping and a stagee dive that went half way across the tent. I was in awe. 'Alice Practice' was intense.

Haven't lost it. Was really good to hear the new album live. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves a lot more.

Muse - Live
Thought this definitely deserved a spot of it's own.
Although the show was massively overstated and flashy, it didn't detract from the experience whatsoever, and Bellamy's talent shone through at all times.
Really made me want to play a piano again.
Definite highlights were
'Supermassive Black Hole' & 'Knights of Cydonia'
Absolutely incredible.
Even if they didn't parachute in for the beginning of 'Starlight'.

Knytt Stories
The best half an hour I have spent today.
A really charming pixel platformer with a fantastic original soundtrack.
Really liked the subtle environment changes, and the bleak way it made you appreciate things like blossom falling from pixellated trees or a lone fish swimming underwater.
Nice message too - turn off nasty machines and save the planet.
Even if you don't have an umbrella that makes you glide through the air, or the ability to make a hologram of yourself.

Having never really given Radiohead a chance until this album, really glad I did.
