Sadness

Original game for the Nintendo Wii, developed by Nibris Systems.

Set before the First World War in the early 1900's with a plot centering around narcolepy and schizophrenia, you are led to confront your fears in an entirely monochrome survival horror adventure:

"The study of fear and the borders of human imagination... A trip to the darkest corners of consciousness, in all of us... A trip to the hell of the subconscious and not necessarily to return..."

The added interactive function of the Wiimote sees the player using it as a torch to fend away rats, as a lever to power a minecart, and a rusty shard of glass to fight off an attacker.

An entriely different direction for the typecast 'family amateur' view the Wii is building for itself.
